Fountain Pens & Rollerballs

Fountain pens and Rollerballs ranging from the 'slim' Baron and Sedonas suitable for a smaller hand, to the much larger Gentleman's Fountain which as the name suggests is more suited to a larger hand. The Classic style is made to same high specification as the larger Gentleman but is more suited to a smaller hand. The Rollerballs are ideal for those who prefer to write in ink but prefer the convenience of a Rollerball.

I have now included Rollerballs with the Fountain Pens as they write like a Fountain Pen but are suited to those who like to write in ink but prefer the convenience of a Rollerball. The Rollerballs are either Platinum or Gold plated.

NEW: Introducing the Smaller Classic Gentleman's Fountain pen and Rollerball. These have the same high specification as the Gentleman's Pens but are half the size and will therefore be ideal for those who prefer a smaller pen but still like the styling of the Gentleman's pen.

Baron Platinum RollerBall in Pear

Pear Malus domestica (Pyrus). The English word pear is probably from Common West Germanic pera probably a loanword of Vulgar Latin pira. The cultivation of the pear extends to the remotest antiquity. Traces of it have been found in the Swiss lake-dwellings; it is mentioned in the oldest Greek writings and was cultivated by the Romans. The word 'pear' or its equivalent occurs in all the Celtic languages.

Classic Gentleman's Rollerball in Bog Oak with Rhodium and 22k Gold detailing

This wood comes from the Moors of Cumbria. The Oak is estimated to be about 5000 years old and it's jet black appearance is due to it being pickled over the years before coming to the surface normally as a result of erosion or activity by man (Peat extraction etc.). The timber is all stabilised before being turned into this very unique pen

Classic Gentleman's Rollerball in Brown Oak with Rhodium and 22k Gold detailing

Brown Oak (Quercus robur)

The Druids held the oak tree sacred and it is still the 'king' of British trees. It yields a very strong timber with an attractive silvery grain. A beefsteak fungus on the trunk will not kill the tree but only takes enough nutrients for its own survival. The fungus causes brown stains and the resulting timber is much sought after for specialist veneers.
